FLIGHTS, INC. ACADEMY AIRLINE PILOT PROGRAM
The Flights, Inc. Academy Airline Pilot Program is designed to take
students with no flight time through their Commercial Pilot Certificate,
Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, and through 100 hours of Multi-Engine
Turbine flight time. Our program will also afford you the opportunity to act
as a First Officer with our sister airline. Flying our Fairchild Metroliner
to and from Denver Centennial and Denver International Airports, you will
graduate from our program as a 300-hour, Multi-Engine, Instrument-Rated Commercial
Pilot with 100 hours of Multi-Engine Turbine flight time.
Our accelerated, structured, airline-style training approach prepares students
for the real world of professional flight. Training aggressively on a full-time
basis (five to six days per week) allows students to efficiently complete courses,
accelerating their professional aviation career. Completing the course with 300 hours
total time (including 100 hours turbine), our graduates are placed ahead of other
applicants in job placement.
This program requires students who are dedicated, career driven, and hard working.
A typical day of training consists of 4 hours ground, 2 or more hours of in-flight
training, training DVDs, computer training and study sessions. The ground and flight
training syllabi include regular flight checks and written tests to constantly monitor
and evaluate a student’s progress, ensuring that the course completion standards are
maintained for every phase of the program.
The Airline Pilot Training Program is divided into a series of modular, progressive
courses of training designed to build on student’s increasing knowledge and experience.
The duration of the entire program is six to eight months. The following table describes
each stage and the approximate costs associated with completing that stage. The pre-paid
